PRIME

Preparing Residents through Instruction in Migraine Education

The Carolina Headache Foundation’s PRIME Initiative is a high-impact training program tackling a critical gap in healthcare: migraine education for family medicine residents.

• 90% of patients seeking care for recurrent headaches in primary care settings have migraine.
• Over two-thirds of family medicine residents report having less than two hours of migraine-specific training.
